What's actually in the box
The Family Feast Box is the deliberate-portion answer to UK Indian takeaway's "five pieces of meat in a tenner" reputation. We don't pad with free rice, free wilted salad, or a thimble of mango chutney. The box contains exactly what's named — and the curries inside are full-size, not "sharing-platter" half-portions.
Three full-size curries
You pick. Choose any three: Yum Makhani, Chicken Nihari, Chicken Curry homestyle, Shahi Paneer, Amritsari Chole, Dal Makhani.
Three rice
Sella 1121 jeera basmati or saffron-stained biryani-style — pick the mix that suits the curries.
Two samosa
Aloo or Chicken (or one of each). Crisp pastry, hand-folded, fried fresh.
Two seekh kebab
Boneless minced chicken seekh, charred on the tandoor, spiced with green chilli, ginger and coriander.
Order the Family Feast direct
Direct ordering is the cheapest channel. Aggregator apps add a 25–30% markup. From Yum! Curries' Brighton kitchen at 1 Paston Place, BN2 1HA, the Family Feast lands across BN1, BN2 and BN3 in roughly 25 minutes — packed in a three-tier compostable kraft tiffin tower that holds heat through the journey.
Suggested combinations
- The Crowd-Pleaser — Yum Makhani + Chicken Nihari + Shahi Paneer. Two chicken, one paneer. Universal mix.
- The Mixed Family — Yum Makhani + Shahi Paneer + Amritsari Chole. One chicken, one veg, one vegan.
- The Vegetarian Box — Shahi Paneer + Amritsari Chole + Dal Makhani. All plant-based; vegan if you swap paneer for an extra veg curry.
- The All-Chicken — Yum Makhani + Chicken Nihari + Chicken Curry homestyle. For households where everyone agrees on chicken.
Brand truths in every box
- Halal certified — every meat dish, every kitchen surface. Certifier [CERTIFIER BODY — to confirm].
- No beef. No pork. Anywhere on the menu.
- Boneless chicken only — every chicken dish, every time. Especially good for kids and group orders.
- Nut-free across every dish we cook in this box — Shahi Paneer is finished with cream and saffron, never cashew; biryani-style rice uses fried onion, herbs and saffron, never chopped nuts. Exception: off-site desserts (Ras Malai, Gulab Jamun) are made by a separate supplier and contain nuts (pistachios). If you add desserts and someone in the household has a nut allergy, flag it at order time and skip them.
- Low-oil cooking — flavour from spice and reduction, not pools of butter or ghee. The morning after is energy, not regret.
- Compostable kraft packaging — three-tier tiffin tower, sealed bowls, kraft carry-bag.
Allergen-friendly Family Feast — flag it at order time
Common requests we're set up for: gluten-free (swap naan for extra rice), vegan only (three plant-based curries, swap kebab for samosa), strictly nut-free (skip the off-site desserts; the box itself is fully nut-free), low-oil light version (flag in order notes). Use the order notes box on any aggregator app or direct checkout.
