Terms of Service.
Last updated: 9 May 2026
These terms govern your use of yumcurries.com and our optin / launch-list services. They are written in plain English. They do not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
1. Who we are
Yum! Curries is a brand operated by Aurum Grove Limited, a company registered in England & Wales. Our operating restaurant is at 1 Paston Place, Brighton BN2 1HA. Contact: hello@yumcurries.com.
2. Ordering food — please read carefully
Once on the aggregator's platform, the contract for the supply of food is between you and the aggregator, with Yum! Curries as the merchant providing the food. The aggregator handles payment, customer service for delivery issues, refund flows for delivery problems, driver communications, and order status.
Aggregator-specific terms apply once you place an order:
3. Promotional offers (£5 off first order)
The "£5 off your first order" promotion is auto-applied at checkout on Uber Eats and Deliveroo for eligible new customers (defined by the aggregator). On Uber Eats: £5 off baskets of £20 or more, capped at £5 per redemption. On Deliveroo: 25% off baskets of £20 or more, capped at £10 per redemption. Limit: 1 redemption per customer per platform. Promotion runs until 4 November 2026 (Uber Eats) and 9 November 2026 (Deliveroo) inclusive, or earlier at our discretion. Promotion eligibility is determined entirely by the aggregator's first-order detection — Yum! Curries cannot manually apply or override discounts.
The discount is funded by Yum! Curries (Aurum Grove Limited). It cannot be combined with other offers on the same order unless the aggregator's interface explicitly allows.
4. Refunds, cancellations, complaints
Because food is supplied via aggregators:
- Order issues (missing items, late delivery, wrong order, food quality complaints, refund requests): contact the aggregator directly via their app/help centre. They process refunds and credits and will, if appropriate, notify us.
- If you cannot resolve an issue with the aggregator: email hello@yumcurries.com with your order ID, the aggregator name, and a description. We respond within 5 working days. We may liaise with the aggregator on your behalf, escalate within their merchant support channel, or, in cases of clear kitchen-side fault, offer a goodwill voucher redeemable on a future order.
- Cancellations: governed by the aggregator's cancellation policy.
5. Allergens and dietary information
- Our cooked menu (curries, biryani, kebabs, samosas, paneer, vegetable dishes, rice) is made without nut ingredients under our nut-control kitchen process. We do not use cashews, almonds, peanuts, pistachios, or chopped nuts as ingredients or garnish in any in-kitchen dish. Shahi Paneer is finished with cream and saffron (not cashew). Biryani is finished with fried onion + coriander + mint (not chopped nuts).
- Cross-contamination risk disclosure: we operate a small Brighton kitchen at 1 Paston Place where all dishes are prepared in a shared environment. Shared utensils, surfaces, and air space mean we cannot fully eliminate the risk of trace cross-contact, even where no nut ingredients are added to a recipe. Our kitchen is not allergen-certified-segregated.
- Desserts (Ras Malai, Gulab Jamun) are made off-site by a separate supplier and DO contain nuts (typically pistachio garnish, sometimes almonds). They are not covered by the in-kitchen nut-control process.
- If you have a severe nut allergy or anaphylaxis-level sensitivity: please contact us at hello@yumcurries.com before ordering. We will review your specific concern, confirm current supplier setup and cross-contact controls, and only confirm an order if we can do so safely. We will decline an order rather than risk a reaction.
- Halal: all meat is sourced from halal-certified suppliers (supplier-level certification — supplier certificates available on request). Kitchen-level HMC/HFA certification is in process; the certificate, certifier name, certificate number, and expiry date will be published on our halal page as soon as it is issued.
- Beef and pork: never used in any Yum! Curries dish.
- Allergen information for each dish is published in our menu on Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Written allergen information is also available on request: email hello@yumcurries.com.
While we take reasonable care to manage allergens, we cannot guarantee any dish is "free from" any allergen unless explicitly stated. Customers with severe allergies should always confirm with us before ordering.
6. Optin / launch list
If you submit your contact details via the optin form on yumcurries.com or any sister channel, you consent to receive launch updates, Brighton-only specials, and product news on the channel you choose (WhatsApp, SMS, or email). Frequency: typically 1–2 messages per month, never more than 4. Unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP (WhatsApp/SMS) or clicking unsubscribe (email). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing — see privacy policy.
7. Franchise enquiries
Information on our franchise page is for general guidance only and does not constitute an offer to enter into a franchise agreement. Detailed franchise economics, territory plans, capital requirements, and operating manuals are shared only after a qualifying call and execution of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Any franchise agreement will be subject to separate written terms, agreed legal review, and applicable UK / target-market regulatory requirements.
8. Intellectual property
The Yum! Curries brand, wordmark, palette, photography, recipe documentation, packaging design, and website content are owned by Aurum Grove Limited. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts for non-commercial purposes (e.g. a review on Reddit or a blog post). For any other use — press, partnerships, franchise enquiries — email press@yumcurries.com.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under UK law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Subject to that, Yum! Curries' liability for use of yumcurries.com is limited to the price of any single order placed via an aggregator. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the aggregator platforms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — for example, to reflect new offers, new aggregators, new product lines, or regulatory changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes that affect your existing rights will be communicated via the launch list (if you have opted in) and via a banner on the site.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
12. Contact
